The project documents fan conventions held in Poland that celebrate fantasy, science fiction, manga, and anime, focusing on their visual aspects as well as the engagement and creativity of the fan communities that bring them to life. Through the transformation undergone by participants and the often highly specific metamorphosis of the spaces where these conventions take place, the events become alternate realities that go beyond everyday experience. The world created by fans is often surreal, difficult to capture within traditional frameworks, and as such, can serve as a tool for challenging dominant social norms.

Exhibition open:
Tuesday–Saturday: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
